The Story

I’m a coach for people that want a more adventurous life. Fifteen years in the industry has taught me that experiences and memories are the most important thing to train for. I don’t sell quick fixes. I prepare people for challenge, adventure, and longevity. I found my Dad disabled after falling out of bed and breaking his neck. From that moment on, I knew life is fragile and can be taken away. Experiences and opportunities are there for the taking, you’ve just got to get them, before its too late. I got my taste for pushing limits in training for the Royal Marines. Finding out that theres more to capacity than what the mind believes. This has led to throwing my hand in whatever adventure or event I can find. MMA, marathons, boxing, CrossFit, Hyrox, anything and everything.

01Do you track your calories and if so, how many calories do you consume per day?

Only when I have something specific coming up and I need to dial things in a little bit more. For example, more carbs for endurance events or more fats when heading into the mountains. I eat roughly 3000k a day though or a I’m hangry man!

02If you wasn't doing your sport what would you be doing?

Competitively competing in CrossFit

03If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life what would it be?

Chinese! No brainer!

04Training days: inside gym or outside miles?

Both - I see everything as a tool. Gym for strength. Outdoors for running! I HATE running on a treadmill.

05Whats your favourite part of a climb?

Seeing the faces of my clients, embracing the beauty of the surroundings. Theres a moment when everyone hits a level of ‘presence’ they probably havn’t experienced for a while. Everything is stripped back.
