Double Choc Protein Pancakes

This stack tastes as good as it looks, plus with a nearly 30g of protein and just 7g of fat, it's healthy and nutritious too.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 egg
  • 1 medium sized banana
  • scoop EFECTIV Whey Double Chocolate protein
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp coconut palm sugar
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil (for frying)

METHOD

  1. Add all the ingredients (except the coconut oil) into a blender and blitz until smooth
  2. 2Heat the coconut oil in a frying pan
  3. 3Once the coconut oil has melted, drop one heaped tablespoon of the batter into the pan and spread out with a spoon
  4. 4Cook on a low heat until little bubbles start to form on the surface
  5. 5Flip the pancake with a spatula and cook for a few more minutes until they are cooked through
  6. 6Transfer to a plate and repeat with the rest of the batter. Layer the pancakes with toppings of your choice and enjoy!
